To this end, we are committed to the equal protection of the law while preserving the rights and dignity of the individual. In this endeavor, we will be responsive, ethical and will respect each other while enforcing the laws of the State and ordinances of the Village and in the prevention and investigation of crime.
Pistol and Sex Offender Registration:
The Fowlerville Police Department is pleased to announce that we are now able to register pistols and process License to Purchase a Pistol applications. We also provide sex offender registration services. These services are provided Monday-Friday, 8 AM until 4 PM.
School Liaison Officer
In April 1997, the Village of Fowlerville Police Department and the Fowlerville Community School District implemented a School Liaison Officer (SLO) position. The position has been in effect ever since and has become a vital part of the educational process. In September 2004, the Fowlerville Community Schools approved the addition of a canine partner for the SLO. This has been a vital component in helping to keep the school district drug free.
The SLO has an office on the school campus and works directly with school administrators to ensure a safe and orderly environment for all students, staff, and visitors. As a police representative in the schools, the SLO performs police related duties and enforcement of criminal laws while assisting the administrative staff with non criminal violations.
The SLO position is funded by the Village of Fowlerville Police Department, the Fowlerville Community School District, Conway Township, Handy Township, and Iosco Township.
Christmas In The 'Ville - Please join us on Saturday, December 3rd for our Christmas In The 'Ville festivities!
